Harp and Hound Jewelry

Our Inspiration

Our in-house line of jewelry, Harp and Hound Jewelry, is entirely designed by our jeweler Dan Jacko. Each item is available either ready to wear, or can be customized to suit your needs.

Dan’s work is inspired by his Irish heritage. You will often find intricate Celtic knotwork in his pieces, which are either taken from traditional works such as the Book of Kells, or are created uniquely in our studio.

Our Harp and Hound Jewelry is also inspired by our love of the natural world. Nature, floral, and animal motifs feature heavily in our work. These are accompanied by an homage to our pets - in a store named after a “Hound,” you will find many animal friendly designs!

Our Ethos

We believe in living as sustainably as possible. As such, each of our Harp and Hound Jewelry items are handcrafted in the USA, and are designed to be as durable and repairable as possible. We encourage the use of reused, recycled, and sustainably sourced stones and will work with our customers to reuse existing jewelry in custom pieces.

We are dedicated to keeping old traditions alive, and practice vanishing art forms such as hand engraving and lost wax casting. Each Harp and Hound Jewelry item is designed in our studio, individually cast in Pennsylvania either using sterling silver or gold, and hand finished.
